The National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF) and other advocacy groups initiated AAPI Women’s Equal Pay Day.
These organizations aim to address the distinct economic challenges faced by AAPI women. Despite progress, significant wage gaps remain, particularly for certain ethnic groups like Burmese and Bangladeshi women, who earn significantly less than their white male counterparts.
