Theater Aan Zee is an 11-day performing arts festival at unique locations in Oostende, focusing on performing arts and young, emerging artists. The 2026 edition embraces the theme "Message in a Bottle" to reflect on human rights and the intuitive, untamed consciousness of the sea. The festival transforms Ostend for eleven days where performing arts, literature, music and the WonderWaai come together, with experiences across squares, parks, theatres and surprising locations throughout the city.
