Suikerrock 2026 celebrates its 39th edition on 7, 8 and 9 August in Tienen. Suikerrock is a premier city music festival held at the heart of Tienen, known as the sugar capital of Belgium. Established in 1987, the festival has grown into a major three-day celebration attracting over 100,000 visitors. The festival has transitioned from the historic Grote Markt to the Tiense Suikerraffinaderij (Sugar Refinery), providing a unique industrial setting honouring the city's heritage.
Friday 7 August
Mainstage: Joost Klein, Zwangere Guy, Blackwave, Yong Yello, Glints. Multiple secondary stages with emerging artists on The Cube and The Palace.
Saturday 8 August
Mainstage: Editors, The Kooks, Arsenal, De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig, Sylvie Kreusch, Portland, Lézard. Secondary stages feature additional artists festival atmosphere energised with indie rock and pop focus.
Sunday 9 August
Family-friendly closing day. Mainstage: Suzan & Freek (headliner), Clouseau (headliner), Guus Meeuwis, Snelle, Kraantje Pappie, LUNA, Aaron Blommaert. Special kids' activities and pricing. Orange-themed celebration with Dutch and Belgian crowd-pleasers.
