Programme

Rosenmontag Eupen is five days of pre-Lenten revelry in Belgium's German-speaking capital, culminating in the Rosenmontag (Rose Monday) procession. The highlight of the carnival is "Rosenmontag" ("Monday of the Roses"). In German-speaking municipalities such as Eupen, they follow Rhenish traditions, and dance to German songs. It's the day of the big parade, in which all the carnival groups participate. The procession passes right through the town, and back again.
