The Palmenmarkt is the largest fairground in the Kempen region with a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages, when it was established as one of four market fairs in Geel's important trading centre, with the 450th edition celebrated in 2010. With approximately 130 attractions, including around 20 major rides, this five-day fairground is a major crowd-puller.
