The historic Ommegang of Brussels will be held on Wednesday 1 and Friday 3 July 2026 at the Grand-Place, starting at 8:45 pm, with 1,400 actors, folk and historic groups, horses, puppet theatre, giants, flags and more . This historical procession recreates the Joyous Entry of Emperor Charles V into Brussels in 1549, an event that amazed the imperial court and ambassadors from across the continent .
