The May Fair in Sint-Niklaas features numerous attractions , and a festival market takes place on Saturday 2 May on the Grote Markt for the opening of the Meifoor, with free face painting, a fashion show and meet & greet with Disney characters, open 14:00–22:00 . The annual Meikermis brings traditional festive atmosphere, attractions and treats to the Grote Markt, where the city centre temporarily transforms into a lively spring fair for families of all ages .
