The City of Wavre has reinvented its winter magic with Les Hivernales, a warm and convivial event designed to accompany year-end shopping . From 18–24 December, Place Cardinal Mercier and Rue du Commerce transform into a luminous setting with street performances, a gospel choir, light jugglers, children's face-painting, plus Santa and his elf . A large dome open until 21h hosts a bar and snacks, surrounded by animated chalets featuring a photo booth, letter-writing workshop with Santa, and activities by Vitamine Z .
