The Marché de Noël Solidaire d'Arlon is in its 17th edition , taking place in December each year. It is one of the largest covered Christmas markets in the region, held under a heated marquee and in the Palais, in the heart of the city. The market distinguishes itself by its solidarity character: all profits from food and beverage sales in the chalets are entirely donated to local charitable associations. There is also a separate Marché de Noël des commerçants (merchants' Christmas market) organized by the local business association.
