Le Doudou (Ducasse rituelle de Mons) se tiendra du 27 mai au 2 juin 2026 , with a second sequence for "Petit Lumeçon" on June 7, 2026 . This UNESCO-recognized masterpiece of oral and intangible heritage mobilizes over 1,600 performers and attracts tens of thousands of spectators annually . The festival combines two main pillars: the Procession of the Car d'Or and the Combat called "Lumeçon" (the St. George & Dragon battle) , blending sacred ceremony with vibrant community celebration.

Wed 27 May – Fri 29 May
- Combat of "Lumeçon" (St. George vs Dragon) on Sunday 31 May at 12:30 on the Grand-Place, preceded by the Procession of the Car d'Or at 9:30 AM
- 600th Descent of the Shrine (Descente de Châsse) on Saturday 30 May evening – a historic milestone
- Opening concert Friday 29 May with VITAA as headliner, plus Charles, DJ Valeuu, and Mister Cover
- Massive street market & braderie on Monday 1 June and Tuesday 2 June with fanfares, archery, pelota ball, free concerts, and fireworks
- 8th edition of street brass band festival from 30 May–2 June
