The Laetare Tiège–Sart returns for its 2026 edition, once again high in colours, music and traditions. Spectators can expect one of the most eagerly awaited festive events of the year, where folklore, friendly rivalry and high-energy atmosphere meet. The Laetare of Sart-Tiege originates from the 17th century and currently takes place on the third Sunday of Lent (2 weeks after the Jalhay-Herbiester carnival). Since 19 December 2024, the "friendly rivalry in the carnivals of the Ardenne liégeoise: The Carnival of Jalhay-Herbiester and the Laetare of Sart-Tiège" is recognised as an emblematic element of the intangible cultural heritage of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
