The idea of being a content creator might seem like a modern one in some aspects, coming along with the age of the internet.
Influencers and creators of content have been around for centuries, but simply with different platforms and media. Even so, the internet has opened the door for creative people from a huge range of sectors to build into what they enjoy and make an impact all over the globe.
International Creator Day first got its start in 2016 when it was founded by YouTube influencer Casey Neistat. The inspiration behind the day was to honor the passion and hard work of content creators across all online platforms.
Since that time, the day has become much more than that – with an invitation of creators of all kinds to celebrate, collaborate, and reveal their passions as they seek to inspire the world at large.
