Heritage runs deep. Your culture matters. This Hispanic Heritage Month, we're celebrating you—all year long.

We see you. We honor you. This month and every month after. #HispanicHeritageMonth

From our familia to yours: honoring the Hispanic innovators, leaders, and dreamers shaping our future.

Real representation. Real voices. Real impact. This is what authentic celebration looks like.

Your accent marks, your names, your pride—they matter. Celebrate who you are, unmasked. #OrgulloLatino

Community. Resilience. Progress. That's the spirit we celebrate this Hispanic Heritage Month and beyond.

Tips4
  • GO DEEP ON AUTHENTICITY: Don't stop at Spanish slogans or cultural imagery. Ensure Hispanic voices are in the room during creative development—from ideation to execution. Generic 'Happy Hispanic Heritage Month' messaging rings hollow.
  • AVOID THE OCTOBER 16 SILENCE: HHM is an entry point, not a finish line. Design sustainable year-round strategies. Companies that activate across multiple departments (Sales, HR, Customer Service, Community Ops) see 2x better retention & loyalty.
  • SKIP THE STEREOTYPES: Nostalgia, family, and 'American Dream' themes are overused. Look for fresh angles—modern identity, specific regional heritage, authentic celebrations (Rémy's Sobremesa movement, MLB's Ponle Acento name-accent campaign).
  • INVEST IN COMMUNITY, NOT JUST VISIBILITY: Partner with Hispanic-led nonprofits, donate meaningfully, hire Hispanic talent, and feature Hispanic-owned suppliers. Performative marketing without systemic change erodes trust.

History

So, where did Hispanic Heritage Month all begin? Well, it dates back to 1968 when a Hispanic Heritage Week was created under President Lyndon Johnson.

It was then expanded to encompass a whole month in 1988 by President Ronald Reagan. Thanks to now being a whole month, the four weeks cover the anniversary of independence for many Latin countries, including Costa Rica, Guatemala, and El Salvador amongst a few others.

Since its inception, the Hispanic Heritage Month has become a huge deal in the calendar of many Hispanic and Latino people around the world, and it is celebrated by hundreds of thousands of people, regardless of where they might be in the world.
