UNESCO-erkende processie op Hemelvaartsdag waarbij de relikwie van het Heilig Bloed met honderden figuranten door de Brugse straten wordt gedragen, start 14u30 aan de Dijver.

A UNESCO-listed religious and cultural parade featuring over 1,800 participants who sing, make music, dance and act, with pageantry styled after the Burgundian era. The procession is thematically divided into four parts: the Old Testament from Creation to Rorate, the New Testament from Nativity to Pentecost, the history of how the Holy Blood relic arrived in Bruges, and the closing with the Noble Brotherhood accompanying the precious relic's shrine. Draws between 30,000 and 45,000 spectators each year.
