A medieval-origin celebration held every December 26 for over 50 years, the Foire des Amoureux features the famous "King of Gaumais Pâté" eating competition in Virton, the capital of Gaume region. The day includes a convivial treasure hunt through city streets followed by an evening in the Town Hall cellars serving the traditional touffaye. The event blends local gastronomy, folklore giants (D'Jean and D'Jeanne), and community celebration.
