The Festival Mondial de Folklore is the oldest dance festival in Wallonia and exists since 1958. Since then, Jambes has received delegations from all continents to show the public and share the colors of their countries, their dances, songs and traditions. This colorful event traditionally takes place during the third weekend of August and is above all a festival of encounters, cross-perspectives, infectious rhythms and vibrant colors. The festival is recognized by CIOFF (International Committee of Folklore Festival Organizations), which is accredited to UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage.

Part 1

Not yet published for 2026. 2025 was structured as: Friday (intergenerational matinee + world-opening evening), Saturday (street parade + gala opening), Sunday (panorama show + World Ball evening), Monday (gala closing). Exact 2026 structure to be announced.
