The Eeklo Jaarmarkt (annual fair) takes place on Thursday, 4 June 2026, on Corpus Christi (Sacramentsdag), the second Thursday after Pentecost. Over 200 vendors—local merchants, associations, and traditional market traders—create a lively market atmosphere in the city centre, with stalls arranged along both sides of the central median between Boelare and Krügershopping. The day culminates in an evening cycling criterium from 17:00, and a summer fairground (Zomerkermis) runs from Wednesday 3 to Monday 8 June on Eeklo's Market Square.
