Computer Learning Month was established to encourage those who aren’t familiar with computers for reasons ranging from a lack of opportunity to just being part of a past generation to get in and learn what computers can do for them. Local libraries often have classes that are offered to the community for free, including everything from basic internet usage to how to get the most out of programs like Microsoft Word.
Computers are deeply involved in everything these days, you can pay your bills and schedule appointments, and look up information on anything from local events to gardening, and that’s just the beginning! Every year hundreds of people are getting the opportunity to up their game with free classes on using these technological marvels. It’s important not to get left behind, as they’re only becoming more and more prevalent, some people are even making the migration to having computers actually placed in and on them.
What’s more, the newest cars are coming with computers and GPS systems built in to take advantage of the vast technological network that surrounds us each and every day. Isn’t it time you move into the modern age?
