Spread across multiple downtown squares—Stationsplein, Leideplein, Parking De Bres, and Possozplein—it features nearly 90–120 attractions ranging from classic rides to thrill rides. This deeply rooted tradition, with roots stretching to 1403, draws tens of thousands of visitors annually and marks the festive opener to Halle's acclaimed carnival weekend (14–16 March 2026).
