Programme

Carnaval Halle takes place on 14, 15, and 16 March 2026. The people of Halle have been throwing this huge party for over 600 years, and Halle Carnival is one of the biggest carnivals in the country. The Carnival fair is one of the largest of its kind and can be found at Stationsplein, Leideplein, along the Leide, Parking 'De Bres' and Possozplein, with 120 fairground attractions. The city and organizer Halattraction implement extra safety measures to ensure a beautiful carnival celebration. Highlights include the Deuvelstoet, reclame parade, surprise act, krottenworp (sweet-throwing), prize ceremony and monster fireworks. The carnival period features 120 fairground attractions. Family days on Wednesday 11 March and Wednesday 18 March offer reduced tariffs at select attractions. A sensory-friendly fair afternoon on Thursday 12 March (15:00-18:00) with dimmed lights and reduced music for children sensitive to stimuli. The Light Parade on Sunday evening and the krotten parade on Monday, with the carnival bonfire to close the festivities. Sustainable carnival with reusable cups and carafes in the party zone.
