Campaign ideas8
- Sustainability-focused activation: Partner with local organic/vegan food vendors to create a 'Green Kitchen' zone, sponsor reusable containers, and promote brands committed to local sourcing.
- Limited-edition collaboration menu: Work with top food truck vendors to co-create exclusive dishes available only at the festival, with branded signage and sampling strategy.
- Instagram giveaway + user-generated content contest: Hashtag campaign (#BFF26 or #BrusselsFoodFest) offering VIP packages, early-bird tickets, or free food vouchers for best festival photos/videos.
- Local community pop-ups: Set up a branded tasting lounge or sampling station featuring 4-5 curated vendors, offering free tastings to drive foot traffic and collect contact data.
- Influencer takeover days: Host local food bloggers/chefs for 'Meet & Greet' sessions, live demos, or Q&As during peak festival hours; coordinate content drops on their channels.
- Street team sampling + mobile cart: Deploy brand ambassadors with samples, branded merchandise (water bottles, napkins), and QR codes linking to discount codes or product info.
- Brewery/beverage partnership booth: Co-sponsor a cocktail or beer garden area with signature drinks, live music, and seating—perfect for F&B or spirits brands.
- Pre-festival email teaser series: 3-email drip campaign (2 weeks before, 1 week, day-of) featuring vendor spotlights, festival map, parking tips, and exclusive discount codes for email subscribers.

Tips4
- DO: Emphasize sustainability, local sourcing, and dietary diversity (76 vegetarian, 45 vegan options) in messaging—Brussels audience values eco-conscious brands. Highlight the global food story, not just the logistics.
- DON'T: Oversell 'free entry' alone—leading with attendance numbers or vendor count drives FOMO better. Lack a cohesive hashtag strategy; unify all social posts around one or two branded hashtags for content amplification.
- DO: Partner with 1-2 food vendors on a co-branded activation (exclusive menu item, tasting station) rather than generic sponsorship. This creates authentic touchpoints and gives vendors media lift too.
- DON'T: Run a campaign without a post-event follow-up plan—use email to thank attendees, share UGC, and nurture them toward repeat attendance or product purchase. This extends ROI far beyond the festival weekend.
