Programme

Bright Brussels is a light festival running Thursday 12 February 2026 - Sunday 15 February 2026, opening from 18h30 to 23h. Over 4 nights, more than 20 luminous artworks and activities guide visitors from the Brussels Park to the Royal Theatre of La Monnaie, featuring unprecedented mapping of the carillon at the Mont des Arts, tribute to sculptor Brâncuși at the Place Royale, sound immersion at La Monnaie Opera House, augmented reality in the courtyard of the City Hall, and installation by Romain Tardy on the Senne river. For its 10th edition, the festival will also feature a culinary programme with Bright Brussels Food. Festival opening, all 20+ installations lit. Routes active in Royal Quarter, European Quarter, Schaerbeek. Bright Brussels Market (rue du Bois Sauvage), Bright Brussels Café (Place Royale), museums open late.

Friday 13 Feb 2026

All routes active 18:30–23:00. Bright Brussels Kids programme begins (Place du Musée, Fri–Sun 17:30–22:00). Culinary village with Brussels chefs offering shrimp croquettes and local producers' market. Guided tours available.

Saturday 14 Feb 2026

All installations, markets, and activities operational. Bright Brussels Kids 17:30–22:00. Museums, gallery openings, late-night shopping at participating retailers. Peak visitor attendance expected.

Sunday 15 Feb 2026

Final night 18:30–23:00. All installations, Markets, Food programme, Kids activities (17:30–22:00), guided tours, and special evening museum events. Festival concludes at 23:00.
