Breekout is a city festival in the center of Bree on 28 & 29 August 2026, located at the Sportlaan . The festival focuses on Belgian artists, established names, and emerging talent . Breekout is a paid event with very democratic pricing . Hooverphonic is one of few Belgian bands to successfully tour worldwide, and they will perform their final concert with Geike Arnaert as lead vocalist The popular Dutch rock band DI-DIRECT performs Friday, as does emerging artist Birthe Saturday features a David Bowie tribute ten years after his death, performed by Tom Hannes & The Moonlovers (Alex Agnew's backing band) Children under 13 receive free admission (except VIP tickets), though there is no separate children's programme VIP tickets include welcome drink, VIP zone access, separate toilets, lounge seating, buffet and wine bar, plus dedicated VIP parking Bicycle parking provided at De Sprink swimming pool near the festival grounds
