On Sunday 30 August 2026, Blankenberge's city will be filled with flowers, music and celebration as the annual flower parade passes through the streets and seafront with dozens of dahlia-decorated floats. The 2026 theme is "Wild van Verbeelding" (Wild Imagination), giving wagon builders freedom to let their creativity run wild. Inspiration can be drawn from nature, dreams, fairy tales or even the future, ranging from dream animals and surrealist worlds to legends, magical worlds and humorous scenes.
