The Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles 2026 marks the historic 40th anniversary of Flanders' largest running festival, expanding into a full weekend of celebration on Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, 2026. The 40th edition covers two race days, attracting a total of 50,000 participants. Held in the heart of Antwerp, Belgium, the event is famous for its electric atmosphere, characterized by thousands of spectators, iconic tunnel passages, and a route along the Scheldt river. The race is legendary for its passage through the Kennedy Tunnel and the Waasland Tunnel, and the local community turns out in mass to support the runners, effectively turning the city into a giant street party with music and cheering zones.

  • Saturday begins with the Persil Kids Mile, followed by the new Baloise Antwerp 5 Miles, while Sunday is exclusively set aside for the classic 10 miles distance
  • Runners are directed through the iconic Kennedy Tunnel and run across iconic city landmarks including Bolivar Square, through Zuidpark, past the KMSKA, and return via the Waasland Tunnel
  • The newly updated 5-mile distance includes a scenic stretch past the Galgenweel lake, offering panoramic views of the Antwerp skyline
  • A full festival week with the Garmin Running Hub hosting training runs with notable athletes including triathlete Marten Van Riel and ultra-runner Matthieu Bonne
  • Festive decorations, a Burenbar Drink community event on Saturday, and a Garmin Running Hub meeting place with daily activities from Tuesday 21 April onwards
