Art Brussels will be held in Halls 5 and 6 of Brussels Expo, the Art Deco landmark built for the 1935 Brussels International Exposition. This edition embraces a clear shift towards more focused, legible fairs where the quality of experience prevails; the fair has chosen to refine its profile and present a more concentrated, more demanding edition that places art and the collector's experience firmly at the centre.
Part 1
Thursday 23 April 2026
- The new Horizons section showcases large-scale works that could not be presented in traditional booths, offering ambitious proposals the opportunity to unfold fully in the spectacular Hall 6 of Brussels Expo.
- 29% of galleries are Belgian, within a lineup spanning 27 countries – a clear sign of the strength of the local scene and the fair's place in a fully internationalised market.
- "Not Everything is for Sale: What 15 Gallerists Based in Brussels with Over 25 Years Would Never Part With – and Why" curated by Bernard Marcelis, proposes 15 experienced gallerists to select the one artwork they would not want to live without.
- Belgian artist Natasja Mabesoone is invited to create a site-specific installation at the entrance of the fair, setting the tone for this renewed, curatorially ambitious edition.
- Art Brussels holds a charity action: The KickCancer Collection, a wall of postcard-sized artworks sold at a flat rate of 400 euros for the benefit of the KickCancer Foundation, which finances research on children's cancer.
- In 2025, the fair welcomed 165 galleries and nearly 25,000 visitors from Belgium and abroad.
