Alcatraz 2026 takes place from 6th until 9th of August 2026 in Kortrijk, Belgium . Alcatraz Open Air is Belgium's largest metal festival, and the eighteenth edition brings together 121 bands spread over four days, featuring headliners like Powerwolf, Lamb of God, Slaughter to Prevail, Arch Enemy, Testament, and Saxon . The festival has grown from a small indoor event to a massive four-day outdoor celebration of all things heavy, featuring four distinct stages: Prison, Swamp, Helldorado, and La Morgue, each offering a unique sonic experience ranging from classic thrash and power metal to extreme death and black metal .
