Afro-Latino Festival in Thor Park, Genk (Belgium) is a music festival with the best artists and bands from Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and Southern Europe. Since 1999 it presents the best artists from Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean islands and Southern Europe. The Thor Park, the former coal mine of Waterschei, was restored in recent years into a beautiful heritage site in a high-quality park for renewable energy and technology and has been the new home of the Afro-Latino Festival since 2022. Alongside concerts, the event highlights salsa and Latin dance, workshops, food stalls, and cultural experiences that create a vibrant community atmosphere.
